District Employment
Mancelona Public School is a K-12 school district educating approximately 850 students in Antrim and Kalkaska Counties, Michigan, as well as students outside its borders who choose to attend through the “schools of choice” program. Our school strives to meet the highest educational standards and takes pride in our school motto “Strong Kids Strong Education.” The District has an outstanding Early Childhood Program, which includes an on-site daycare center, Strong Beginnings, Great Start Readiness Programs, and a Dual Enrollment Program.

High School Art Teacher. We have an immediate opening for a high school art teacher. The candidate must hold or have the ability to secure a valid Michigan teaching certificate with an LX endorsement. In this position, you will be responsible for planning and preparing learning activities and guiding students toward the achievement of curriculum and district objectives. Mental Health Professional. The Health Department of Northwest Michigan has a school-based position available to provide group and individual services to area youth in Mancelona Elementary School.This is a full-time position during the school year, with up to two days per week worked during the summer. Applicants with experience using electronic medical records and mental health billing are preferred. This position starts October 1, 2023.
