Choose Success Guests

Communities in Schools, along with Mancelona Elementary School and students participating in the Choose Success before and after school programs, participated in the 6th Annual Read-a-thon, March 3rd – 14th.  Representative Kevin Elsenheimer, along with many other guest readers from the community and school were invited to come and read to the students during this time.  The funds raised during this event will be used to promote Communities in Schools and Choose Success sponsored events within the school, as well as purchasing new Accelerated Reader books and tests for the students.  The event went very well, and the participation and support of this event is appreciated.
