Beginning March 1st, 2010 Mancelona Public Schools will be offering Universal Free Breakfast to all Mancelona students!
Everyone knows that a healthy breakfast is the best way to start the day.
The purpose of the universal free breakfast program is to feed all students a healthy breakfast, preparing them for learning. Moreover, offering free breakfast is proven to increase participation rates and positively impact student behavior and school readiness. We believe that free breakfast before the school day saves parents money, nourishes children, and lets teachers focus on student achievement.
When students are fed and ready to learn, everyone wins!
