Mrs.Van Pate's Social Media Class learned about creating a positive digital footprint. When you post online, you lose control of whatever you posted. Anyone can copy and paste your comments and photos anywhere...unlike the footprint you make in the sand.

Students Learn How to Handle Cyber-Bullying

Elizabeth VanPate’s 8th grade Social Media class recently  presented anti-bullying projects to both the Mancelona Board of Education and an 8th grade class in Eureka, Montana, via a live-feed.  In December of last year a law was signed requiring all schools to have a cyber-bullying policy.  With that our students got to work on creating various projects regarding cyber-bull

Principal's Message - January 2012

Dear Families,

 

The second marking period will end January 20th with no school for students on that day.  This will also represent the end of the first semester.  On that day, the teachers will be involved in professional development preparing for the start of the second semester.
