Principal's Message - April 2009

Dear Families,

 Spring is close and the fourth marking period is here! The students have accomplished quite a lot in the past few months. I can not be more proud of the students in all that they have shown so far this school year! 

Let’s make a good push through the balance of the year! 

During our most recent Parent-Teacher Conferences I was so pleased to here the wonderful comments about the Middle School and how much you all appreciated how your children are being treated. I want to especially thank you for taking time to fill out the Parent Survey. It is now very apparent, from the surveys, that you are equally proud of your school and all that it does for the kids!   Thank You!

Just a couple of quick reminders:

• Our O.M. Team will be traveling downstate Saturday, April 18^th to complete in the State competition. Congratulations to the members as you surely represent your school at the highest level.
• “Young Authors” conference will be taking place Thursday, April 16 at Shanty Creek Resort. Call Mrs. Brigham for more details. This will be a fabulous day of reading, writing and all sorts of literature-based fun!
• No School Friday, April 10^th as it’s Good Friday; No School May 25^th as it’s Memorial Day Recess; and, the last day of school is June 8^th with a half day for students
• Check out our Honor Roll Board as it continues to grow with students!!
• First HOME M.S. Track meet is Thursday, April 16^th. You can get a schedule from the M.S.

 Please call or stop by the Middle School when you have ideas or suggestions that could help us to become even stronger! We do have Strong Kids and a Strong Education!!
