The last day of Penny Wars was a HUGE success! First grade needed to get a second container to hold all their pennies. However, if you or your child would still like to participate and help raise money for Wertz Warriors and Special Olympics it's not too late. This is the 11th year each grade in our elementary school will compete for points and to see which one collects the most pennies. Students and staff have a lot of fun with this fundraiser for Michigan Special Olympics, with the winning class receiving an ice cream party at the end of the week-long competition.
