Mrs.Van Pate's Social Media Class learned about creating a positive digital footprint. When you post online, you lose control of whatever you posted. Anyone can copy and paste your comments and photos anywhere...unlike the footprint you make in the sand.
The Penny War Is On at Our Elementary!

This is the 11th year each grade in our elementary school will compete for points and to see which one collects the most pennies. Students and staff have a lot of fun with this fundraiser for Michigan Special Olympics, with the winning class receiving an ice cream party at the end of the week-long competition. On January 20, during our high school teachers’ Professional Development session, staff received CPR and first-aid training. Bill Brietzke and Ann Butler, both from the Mancelona fire Department, were the trainers for this very important opportunity to be prepared!
